Step Ball Chain

You're Invited!

Who:
  Your hosts, the Lemonheads!

What:
The wildest dance party this side of the placenta!

Where:
 Vanessa's Uterus!

When:
Between the hours of midnight and 5 am!

What to Bring:  We've installed two new bouncy castles, one called the Bladder and one called the Lung!  Bring football shoes, golf shoes, hiking shoes, or any shoes with cleats on them for a bouncy good time!

R.S.V.P. today!

Yeah.

Not sleeping so well lately.  The babies think the hours of 4pm - 9 pm and then midnight - 5pm are the best hours to recreate the magic of the Solid Gold dancers.  That, and the reflux has me freebasing Tums (luckily I have had an ulcer for years and am used to the feeling.  This may be the first and last time I've been pleased I have an ulcer.)

I have 15 more weeks to go.

LOL

I think I got the same invite!!! (From different fetuses... but it's the same theme for the party, I think!)

Funny how you can't turn down this invite, though...

They're actually engaged in a classic Simpsons battle:

*poke*
Ow, quit it.
*poke*
Ow, quit it.
*poke*
Ow, quit it.
*poke*
Ow, quit it.
*poke*
Ow, quit it.

Or, the classic "back seat of the station wagon debate"

"Stay on your side of the uterus!"
"No, you stay on your side!"
"MOM!"

I take it this is a BYOB party?

I still have a bottle of Tums by my bed because I was so used to chewing them throughout the night when I was pregnant. The reflux finally went away for me about a week or two after I'd given birth.

15 more weeks? You're in the home stretch!

yes - we seem to be having a similar party here too, but so far it's mostly the cervix (ouch!) and the bladder - not the lungs (yet!).

And I have the tums by the bed. J finally got tired of me asking him to get up and get me some - so he brought my bottle into the bedroom.

Man, wait until they start squeezing the ol' balloon knot. Talk about puckering asshole. The mini did that so hard that it would literally stop me in my tracks and make me grab onto the nearest grabbable surface.

And man, I totally feel your reflux pain. Can you take anything else other than tums? My dr. let me take prilosec or zantac, and when those stopped working, she finally prescribed something for me that was class B.

Yeah, like Statia, I was hooked on pepcid and it worked wonders. Better than the tums, which I had to eat by the handful several times a day.

I am sorry. I have a party animal too, but I can't imagine what it islike to have 2 in there! I hope they get quieter as they get bigger and have more space to wiggle.

pssst! It's me... that girl that obnoxiously corrects people about stuff...

After being in dance for most of my childhood, I can safely say it's "step ball change."

God. Sometimes I even annoy myself, yet I can't seem to stop...

Seriously, we are hosting house parties in utero.

There's been an open invite to my uterus party for a while now and it seems that Cleatus wants everyone to be there.

I swear if I had not had 5 ultrasounds by this point I would think there was at least two kids in there knocking about.

Oh and Statia, please stop making comments that have me spurting hot tea from my nose so early in the morning. :)
